A cool DIY Hack is a ‘party bouncer’ which is so simple but can work wonders when you’re trying to get good partying shots.

Most in-built camera flashes are very harsh so try using something to diffuse the light, try a piece of magic tape over the flash (its like sellotape but more opaque, see link below), or whatever you have to hand – those crappy white polystyrene cups can work well, or the white napkin you get given with your cocktail works wonders at bouncing the light around and making it less direct, therefore softer.
